Consul General Profile


Manjish Grover is a member of the Indian Foreign Service. He has an experience of over 20 years in a variety of assignments.

He started his service at the MEA headquarters in New Delhi familiarizing himself with multilateral work on the SAARC desk. In 1993 he was posted on his first overseas assignment at the Consulate General of India in St. Denis, Reunion Island where he handled a range of work including administration, commerce, consular etc.

During the subsequent periods intermittently spent at the headquarters, he has worked as media officer in the External Publicity Division of the Ministry where he was responsible for coordinating familiarization visits of senior media persons to India and assisted Indian Missions abroad with media facilitation during State visits of high level dignitaries. From 2009 - 2011, he was deputed to the office of the Minister of State for External Affairs.

As part of his other overseas assignments, Mr. Grover has served in Indian Missions in Paris and Islamabad as Press & Cultural Attaché and at the Indian Embassy in Washington, DC as Commerce Attaché where he worked on trade and commercial relations between India and the United States.

Before joining this Consulate, he was looking after some aspects of the Ministry’s outreach through public diplomacy at the External Publicity and Public Diplomacy Division of the Ministry of External Affairs.

Mr. Grover has a degree in Commerce from Delhi University. He speaks English, French and German and loves to travel and read.
